HMGA1 and thyroid cancer: Further analysis to the tissue microarray data unraveled a positive correlation between S100A13 and HMGA1 expression (P = 0.004) regardless of thyroid cancer types, which is consistent with the results from cells models, suggesting that S100A13 may be of importance in regulating HMGA1 expression in human thyroid cancer, and that S100A13 might be responsible for the increased ability of proliferation and invasion in thyroid cancer cells.
