Importantly, previously reported direct targets of MLL-FPs, such as Hoxa7, Hoxa9, Hoxa10, Meis1, Eya1, Six4, Mef2c and others were up-regulated uniformly in all MLL-FP leukemias compared to bone marrow (Figure 2B (cluster 5), Supplemental Figure 2C), suggesting these do not account for differences in disease latency reported above (Figure 1C) [26, 27].
