Another recent example is the germline single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs2168101 G > T in a super‐enhancer within the first intron of LMO1. The G allele of this SNP constitutes a transcription factor binding site in the super‐enhancer that drives the expression of the oncogene LMO1 and predisposes to neuroblastoma (Oldridge et al, 2015). The gene discussed is LMO1; the disease is neuroblastoma.
