Accumulating evidence suggests that IL-33 is one of the most important cytokines in the pathogenesis of various disorders, including autoimmune diseases, myocardial infarction, heart failure, and allergic pulmonary diseases [9]; however, in the literature, the data regarding the role of IL-33 in DKD and CIN are scant. This evidence concerns the gene IL33 and cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
