HB-EGF is involved in the progression and malignancy of several cancers, including ovarian cancer, and is recognized as a therapeutic target for these cancers.(11,12,26) Thus, mAbs clinically available for detection of HB-EGF expression would be an important tool in the therapeutic diagnosis of HB-EGF-related cancers.
