Especially TNFSF13 (Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 13) and S100A8 (S100 calcium binding protein A8, calgranulin A) are described to be overexpressed in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematodes (SLE) [18, 23]. The gene discussed is TNFSF13; the disease is systemic lupus erythematosus.
