In our study, we found that the A allele of rs1054135 could upregulate FABP4 expression in TNBC patients, which was in line with the findings of a previous study that in children with obstructive sleep apnea, the rs1054135 AA genotype was associated with high serum FABP4 levels [23], suggesting a functional relevance of this site. Here, FABP4 is linked to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
