To further substantiate the importance of high Mortalin expression in breast cancer progression, we analyzed DFS and OS of 155 breast cancer cases using the Kaplan-Meier method, and found that patients with high Mortalin expression had lower DFS and OS than those with low Mortalin expression (both P < 0.0001) (Fig. 4). This evidence concerns the gene HSPA9 and breast carcinoma.
