NECAB3 expression was significantly increased in five tumours (urothelial bladder cancer, chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, papillary kidney carcinoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, and prostate adenocarcinoma), but significantly decreased in four (oesophageal cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, and phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma) (Fig. 8A). Here, NECAB3 is linked to bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
