NECAB3 expression was significantly increased in five tumours (urothelial bladder cancer, chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, papillary kidney carcinoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, and prostate adenocarcinoma), but significantly decreased in four (oesophageal cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, and phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma) (Fig. 8A). This evidence concerns the gene NECAB3 and carcinoma of esophagus.
