Histopathological assessment of representative lumbar spinal cord sections demonstrated the potent role of CD226 pAb in reducing the infiltration of inflammatory cells in CNS characterized by less infiltration of parenchymal perivascular mononuclear cells in the meninges and parenchyma which is associated with demyelination compared with that in the control group (Figure 4D and 4E). Here, CD226 is linked to Peripheral demyelination.
