By univariable Cox regression analysis, high expression levels of GEP and β-catenin [hazard ratio (HR), 1.9; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.0–3.7; p = 0.041] and late tumor stage (HR, 1.9; 95% CI, 1.1–3.4; p = 0.028) were significantly associated with poor recurrence-free survival.
