Women with MIAC and HCA exhibited the highest concentration of CRP [median: 9.0 mg/L (IQR: 3.9–20.1)] vs. women with HCA alone [median: 6.9 mg/L (IQR: 3.6–12.1)], MIAC alone [median: 7.4 mg/L (IQR: 3.6–15.6)] or with neither MIAC nor HCA [median: 4.5 mg/L (IQR: 2.0–8.6)]; (Fig 2) in crude analysis (p < 0.0001) and after adjustment for the gestational age of the sample (p < 0.0001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and hepatocellular adenoma.
