As shown in Table 5, AD patients carrying the APOEε4 allele and the IL-1β TT genotype showed less time in bed (506.7 ± 18.3 min); longer sleep latency (24.2 ± 16.2 min) and REM latency (152.8 ± 27.5 min); more awakenings (18.6 ± 5.1); and a lower SWS percentage (0.1 ± 0.2%) than those carrying CC/CT combined genotypes.
