The MTA scale was the best single scale for identifying late-onset Alzheimer’s disease, performing well in the comparison with the DLB group (AUC =0.79), although at chance for the comparisons with the FTLD groups (FTLD-Tau: AUC = 0.50, FTLD-TDP43: AUC =0.45). Here, MAPT is linked to early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
