The non pathological brain responds to vitamin D3 treatment by modifying the expression of i) nitric oxide in macrophages, ii) neurotrophins and iii) molecules related to Huntington disease whereas the pathological brain reacts by altering the expression of iv) nitric oxide in endothelial cells, v) cathecholamines and vi) molecules associated to Multiple Sclerosis. This evidence concerns the gene BDNF and juvenile Huntington disease.
