As OTUD7B and TNIP2 are common inhibitors of NF-κB signaling, we further examined this process and found that the NF-κB pathway was significantly activated by miR-1180, indicating its crucial role for apoptosis regulation might be through activation of NF-κB signaling in HCC cells. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
