We found that A549 cells were decelerating the elongation of genes with low EVIs that is significantly relevant to maintain the EGF signaling pathway (P = 1.77×10−4; Fig 6E), which plays important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of lung cancer cells; in addition, systemic lupus erythematosus signaling was also significantly associated (P = 9.07×10−4; Fig 6E). This evidence concerns the gene EGF and lung carcinoma.
