Our previous study demonstrated that exogenous expression of RBM5 by the pcDNA3.1-RBM5 inhibited the cell growth of human prostate cancer and lung cancer in vivo and in vitro and resensitized the response of A549/DDP cells (cisplatin resistant counterparts of A549 cells) to cisplatin [8, 18–20]. The gene discussed is RBM5; the disease is prostate cancer.
