Our study revealed that the majority of the p53/p63/p73 target genes upregulated during ALS in the atrophic muscles are connected to cell death (Gadd45a, Peg3, Perp, Pmaip1, Bax, Siva, Eda2r, Wig1/Pag608) (Figure 1 and Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene GADD45A and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
