MKI67 and pancreas disorder: To elucidate whether early PanIN lesions already exhibit greater Nrf2 activity and whether this correlates with an increased proliferative activity, phospho-Nrf2 (p-Nrf2), representing activated Nrf2, as well as Ki67 were immunohistochemically detected and scored in normal ducts and PanINs of pancreatic tissues from 22 individuals which had died from non-pancreatic diseases (Tables 1 and 2).
