In Table 2, we summarize the number of sequence variants that damage wild‐type splice sites (from DBASS, excluding BRCA1/2 variants) and single‐nucleotide substitutions that damage wild‐type BRCA1 or BRCA2 splice sites (from the Breast cancer Information Core [BIC]) as a function of MES z‐score. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and breast carcinoma.
