CD4 and Kaposi's sarcoma: Enigmatically, despite of the steep decrease in overall incidences of KS in post-cART era, there is a steady increase in proportions of KS patients diagnosed at CD4+ T cell counts in excess of 300 cells/mm3, a count generally not associated with complications arising from opportunistic infections (Maurer et al., 2007; Krown et al., 2008; Mani et al., 2009; Daly et al., 2014; Labo et al., 2015).
