This is in contrast to a number of studies in other cancer types that found deletion and/or mutation of MTAP at high frequency in: glioblastoma (GBM) 151/273 cases [28]; bladder urothelial carcinoma 39/127 cases [29], and in lung squamous cell carcinoma 46/178 cases [30]. The gene discussed is MTAP; the disease is glioblastoma.
