As LIN28A is associated with the differentiation of cancer cells, we evaluated the markers of stem cells OCT4, SOX2 and NANOG, and found that their expression in PANC1 cells was higher than that of the other cells (Figure 1C, S1B), indicating that PANC1 cells possess more poor differentiation state, which is consistent with previous studies in other tumor types.
