As mentioned above, cats diagnosed with HER2-overexpressing MC (scored as 2+ and 3+), showed significantly (p = 0.03) higher sHER2 levels (Figure 4B, lines 5 and 6) than cats with HER2-negative mammary carcinomas (Figure 4B, lines 3 and 4) or healthy cats (Figure 4B, line 2). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast carcinoma.
