Our ITC and molecular modeling results suggested that danshensu was the only compound among the three final candidates that would exhibit significant affinity for MAOB (Fig. 2a and Supplementary Table S3), and thus, danshensu was selected for additional experiments and found to show considerable inhibitory effects on IR-activated MAOB and NF-κB activities in NSCLC cells. This evidence concerns the gene MAOB and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
