In the present study, we investigated the crosstalk between mTORC1 and IKK/NF-κB signaling pathways in HNSCC, which exhibit overexpression of EGFR as well as higher basal levels of activity of both Akt and mTOR [2, 4, 10, 12]. The gene discussed is MTOR; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
