The present study appears to show that THC, a reduced analog of CUR, could inhibit tumor growth and tumor progression, most likely by downregulating the expression of COX-2, EGFR, and their signaling molecules (p-ERK1&2 and p-AKT), resulting in the reduction of cell proliferation as well as promoting cellular apoptosis. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is neoplasm.
