It has been reported that the deactivation of the CADM1/TSLC1 gene, partly through promoter hypermethylation, is associated with the occurrence and development of a wide variety of tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma [9–13]. Here, CADM1 is linked to colonic neoplasm.
