MTA1 and salivary gland neoplasm: Our findings demonstrate that MTA1 was significantly overexpressed in malignant salivary gland neoplasm in comparison with a lower levels in benign PA, suggesting that MTA1 protein might be involved in carcinogenesis; however, further studies are necessary to evaluate MTA1 levels in salivary gland neoplasms and establish its role in diagnosis, prognosis, and cancer therapy.
