Notably, CBX2 depletion induced a 3.7- and 2.3-fold increase in caspase 3/7 activity in LNCaP and C4-2, respectively (Fig. 3g, h, p < 0.001, Student’s t test), suggesting that CBX2 is required for PCa cell survival. The gene discussed is CBX2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
