MTOR and cancer: In both RCC (Fig. 7A, S6A) and breast cancer (Fig. 7B, S6B), PKM2 was overexpressed in cancer tissues, alongside with elevated phosphorylation of S202/203, phosphorylation of mTOR and phosphorylation of 4EBP that signaled activation of mTOR signaling, and elevated p62 that signaled inhibited autophagy.
