PKM and renal cell carcinoma: Consistent with that wild-type PKM2, not its inactive PKM2K270M mutant36 increased the levels of the phosphoserine (P-Ser), phosphothreonine (P-Thr) and phosphotyrosine (P-Tyr) of RCC proteome in a PEP dependent manner (Fig. 1B), a total of 974 residues in 405 proteins, including 13 of the PKM2 substrates previously identified by the protein array assay30, were identified as potential PKM2 substrates (Table S1).
