The results suggested that the MICA-A6 allele can be treated as an increased risk factor of BD, with a pooled OR of 2.34 while the MICA-A4, A5, A5.1, and A9 alleles can be cautiously viewed as protective factors, with ORs of 0.71, 0.75, 0.63, and 0.70, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene MICA and Behcet disease.
