As shown in Table 1, significant and positive associations were observed between TRIM29 over-expression and tumor size (T1-T2 versus T3-T4: 37.5% and 73.0%, p = 0.0065), lymphoid metastasis (N0-1 versus N2-3: 42.5% and 79.3%, p = 0.0049), distant metastasis (M0 versus M1: 23.1% and 53.3%, p = 0.0193) and clinical stage (stage I-II versus stage III-IV: 13.0% and 47.8%, p = 0.0102).
