CD4 and infection: To determine whether BIT225 was able to inhibit the transfer of HIV-1 from the MDDC to a more permissive CD4+ T cell target, infected MDDC were co-cultured with uninfected PHA-activated CD4+ T cells at 0, 2 and 4 h and at 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12 and 14 days post-MDDC infection, at a ratio of 1:3 in the presence or absence of BIT225.
