Except for a pancreatic cancer cell line that showed the involvement of the well-studied reelin receptors ApoER2/VLDLR and their key adaptor protein, Dab1, in the suppression of cell migration by reelin [46], none of the studies have investigated reelin's functions and signaling pathways in tumorigenesis. This evidence concerns the gene VLDLR and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
