Importantly, the conditioned medium from GATA1-overexpreesing breast cancer cells with SET7 knockdown abolished the ability of the conditioned medium from GATA1-overexpreesing breast cancer cells to stimulate HUVEC proliferation, migration and tube formation as well as angiogenesis (Figure 5C–5F and Supplementary Figure S9A–S9D), suggesting that GATA1 promotes VEGF-induced HUVEC proliferation, migration and tube formation as well as angiogenesis via SET7. This evidence concerns the gene SETD7 and breast carcinoma.
