Our earlier studies of human T cells co-incubated with TEX or exosomes isolated from plasma of patients with cancer showed that these nanovesicles down-regulated CD3ζ and JAK3 expression in primary activated T cells and mediated Fas/FasL-driven apoptosis of activated CD8+ T cells3, 13, 14, 15, 25. The gene discussed is JAK3; the disease is cancer.
