A GRK6-/- mouse, with a propensity to develop chronic colitis, showed attenuated Foxp3 at d16, which the authors speculated may have attributed to the chronic disease development-there was also evidence in this study, however, that Foxp3+Tregs in the colonic tissue of acute/chronic colitis mice were not functionally equivalent. This evidence concerns the gene GRK6 and Chronic colitis.
