We next examined the risk factors for development of PH using logistic regressionanalysis of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterialpressure, the proportion of arteriovenous fistula, serum BNP levels, phosphoruslevels, CRP levels, albumin levels, hemoglobin levels, hypertensive nephropathy,right ventricular diameter, right ventricular outflow tract diameter, main pulmonaryartery, left atrial diameter, interventricular septum thickness, ejection fraction,mitral regurgitation, and pericardial effusion. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hypertensive nephropathy.
