That it could be so, is corroborated by our finding that after 12 weeks of feeding, B12R+ mice had significantly higher levels of circulating proinflammatory adipocytokines, such as TNF-α, leptin, and IL-6 levels, compared to controls implicating sustained support to obesity, and this is in line with the increased body fat% of B12R+ mice at this time point.
