In this study, we used three non-cancer cell lines (HB2, HS27, MCF10A), which we have previously shown to have normal imprinted DIRAS3 expression, and breast cancer cell lines (SUM159, MCF7), where loss of DIRAS3 imprinting leads to biallelic expression (SUM159) or biallelic silencing of DIRAS3 (MCF7). This evidence concerns the gene DIRAS3 and breast carcinoma.
