DRD2 and schizophrenia: Specifically, aberrant generalization is implicated in depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia (Buss and Daniell, 1967; Gotlib and Joormann, 2010; Lissek et al., 2014b; Shohamy et al., 2010), and our findings indicate that blocking D2R activity may provide a potential treatment of overgeneralization in these disorders.
