We detected significantly higher BMI (26.7 vs 24.0 kg/m2) (P = 0.05), p-glucose (5.2 vs 4.9) (P = 0.005) p- insulin (10 vs 6 mIE/L) (P = 0.008), Homa-Index (0.14 vs 0.07) (P = 0.002), s-leptin (20.5 vs 11.5) (P = 0.07), leptin/kg fat mass (0.78 vs 0.56) (P = 0.02) and s-ghrelin (1165 vs 962 ng/L) (P = 0.04) among ALL survivors compared to matched controls. Here, LEP is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
