For example, for patients with CD4+ T‐cell counts above 350 cell/mm3 (the commonly perceived immunologic safe haven), KS incidence was 146/100,000 person‐years (95% CI: 87–247/100,000 person‐years) among non‐ART users, 32/100,000 person‐years (95% CI: 14–70/100,000 person‐years) among all ART users, and 41/100,000 person‐years (95% CI: 15–109/100,000 person‐years) among new ART users. Here, CD4 is linked to Kaposi's sarcoma.
