In another study by Sun et al., subjects with Fas‐670GG (OR = 1.72, 95% CI = 1.26–2.34, P < 0.001), Fas‐1377AA (OR = 1.79, 95% CI = 1.29–2.48, P < 0.001) and FasL‐844CC (OR = 2.06, 95% CI = 1.64–2.59, P < 0.001) genotypes were associated with increased risk of esophageal carcinoma compared with those with Fas‐670 AA, Fas‐1377 GG, FasL‐844 TT genotypes, respectively 29. Here, FAS is linked to carcinoma of esophagus.
