The transition from neutrophil to mononuclear cell infiltration is an important process during resolution of mucosal inflammation.5, 6 However, during bovine endometritis this transition is dysregulated with sustained influx of neutrophils.19 Here, we show that cross-talk between TLR signaling and STAT3 pathways, in bovine endometrial cells, sustains production of IL-6 and IL-8 via IL6R signaling (Figure 6).
