The data suggest that the abrogation of PLCγ1 signaling by shRNA could efficaciously suppress tumor growth and metastasis of human gastric adenocarcinoma through Akt/Bad, ERK/Bad, and Akt/S6 signal axes, implying that PLCγ1 is a potential target for human gastric adenocarcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and gastric adenocarcinoma.
