Evidence for NK cell-mediated ADCC has been given in clinical studies using antibody treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma with rituximab (anti-CD20) [32, 33], multiple myeloma with daratumumab in combination with all-trans retinoic acid [34] or human anti-KIR antibody IPH2102 and lenalido [31], metastatic breast cancer with herceptin (anti-trastuzumab) [35] and metastatic colorectal cancer or squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck by the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor cetuximab [36]. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
