In glioma, it is recently reported that fatty acid binding protein (FABP7), which is one of the intracellular lipid chaperones mediating the cellular dynamics of fatty acids, is highly expressed in glioblastoma neurospheres [8], and that manipulation of FABP7 level in malignant glioma cells affects their proliferation and migration features [9, 10]. This evidence concerns the gene FABP7 and glioma.
